“Wait here,” he commanded, and was pleased when she didn’t try to follow him over the gravelly ground with nothing on her feet. He left her standing on the top step of the pub, looking far too cute for her own good. She had on her business suit, only now the once wrinkle-free, perfect suit looked scruffy. Her shirt was un-tucked, with little splashes of beer on it—courtesy of Giles and his famous break dancing—her jacket hung on her shoulders loosely, and her skirt was twisted around. While Sky was no means wasted, she was definitely squiffy, her cheeks were pink and she swayed a little where he left her.
