You may or may not know, but I am a big Sherrilyn Kenyon Fan… BIG. And I was super excited to read the new installment from the Dark hunter series #20 I WAS NOT DISSAPPOINTED! I thought that it was fantastic.
When I visited the UK I saw the book in one of the perfectly wonderful bookshops in England and squealed all the way to the till, I promptly ignored everyone for a good 24 hours and didn’t look up from the book until it was good and finished!
When I returned home – France – I had a pretty brown package in the shape of a book waiting for me. I tore it open, wondering with child like glee what book it might be. And to my surprise, it was a hardback copy of RETRIBUTION. apparently I pre-ordered it a while ago… OOPS! Now, although I love my pretty books, and how perfectly awesome my bookshelves look packed with Sherrilyn Kenyon novels, I feel that having two hardback copies of the same book is a little greedy.
So, because I love you all, and because I think that EVERYONE should be a Sherrilyn Kenyon fan, I am going to give the shiny new copy away to one of you lovely people! I know, I know… I ROCK! *Rolls Eyes* Shucks…
So, just leave me a comment and maybe a reason why I should choose you, and I will pick a winner and post it to them – as easy as that!
WOW, now I know why Santa loves his job!
If you have been living under a rock and havent had a chance to read it, here is the blurb. So even if you dont win, after you read it you will be tempted to distraction to go and buy a copy. *Rubs hands together, satified by evil plan to make everyone – EVERYONE- a Dark hunter fan* MMWAHAHAHAH!
A hired gunslinger, William Jessup Brady lived his life with one foot in the grave. He believed that every life had a price. Until the day when he finally found a reason to live. In one single act of brutal betrayal, he lost everything, including his life. Brought back by a Greek goddess to be one of her Dark-Hunters, he gave his immortal soul for vengeance and swore he’d spend eternity protecting the humans he’d once considered prey.
Orphaned as a toddler, Abigail Yager was taken in by a family of vampires and raised on one belief- Dark-Hunters are the evil who prey on both their people and mankind, and they must all be destroyed. While protecting her adoptive race, she has spent her life eliminating the Dark-Hunters and training for the day when she meets the man who killed her family: Jess Brady.
A gun in the hand is worth two in the holster…
Jess has been charged with finding and terminating the creature who’s assassinating Dark-Hunters. The last thing he expects to find is a human face behind the killings, but when that face bears a striking resemblance to the one who murdered him centuries ago, he knows something evil is going on. He also knows he’s not the one who killed her parents. But Abigail refuses to believe the truth and is determined to see him dead once and for all.
Brought together by an angry god and chased by ancient enemies out to kill them both, they must find a way to overcome their mutual hatred or watch as one of the darkest of powers rises and kills both the races they’ve sworn to protect.
